What are the common application areas of stainless steel welded pipe bases

Stainless steel welded pipe bases have a wide range of applications, mainly including the following aspects:

1) Petroleum and Chemical Industry: As these industries frequently handle corrosive chemicals, it is necessary to use materials with high corrosion resistance. Stainless steel can withstand extreme temperature and pressure conditions at the welding pipe seats, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the pipeline system.

2) Pharmaceutical Industry: The pharmaceutical industry has strict requirements for hygiene standards and needs to use materials that are easy to clean and disinfect. The smooth surface of stainless steel makes it less prone to accumulating dirt and bacteria, and is therefore highly suitable for the piping systems of pharmaceutical equipment.

3) Food Industry: During the food processing process, strict hygiene standards must be maintained to prevent food contamination. Stainless steel materials are not only resistant to corrosion but also easy to clean, which can effectively prevent the growth of bacteria and ensure the safety and quality of the food.

4) In the fields of shipbuilding, power generation and heating: These fields often encounter harsh working conditions and require materials with high strength and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel's high strength and corrosion resistance of the welded pipe seats make it an ideal choice for these fields.

Different types of stainless steel and their applications

For welding pipe bases, the following types of stainless steel are typically used:

1) 304 stainless steel: It has good corrosion resistance and formability, and is widely used in food processing, chemical industry, medical devices, etc.

2) 316 stainless steel: It has better corrosion resistance and resistance to chloride, suitable for marine environments, chemical equipment and other occasions with higher requirements.

3) 304L stainless steel: A low-carbon version, suitable for applications requiring better corrosion resistance.

4) 316L stainless steel: A low-carbon version, with better corrosion resistance and resistance to chloride.

Different connection methods and their application scenarios

The commonly used connection methods for stainless steel water pipes include:

1) Threaded connection: Suitable for low-pressure and small to medium-sized diameter water pipes, such as household water supply systems.

2) Butt welding connection: Suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter stainless steel water pipes, featuring high connection strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, and widely used in fields such as petrochemicals and nuclear power plants.

3) Flange connection: Suitable for medium-high pressure and large-diameter stainless steel water pipes, with the advantage of easy disassembly and maintenance.

4) Clamp connection: Suitable for small to medium-sized diameter stainless steel water pipes, featuring simplicity, rapidity and economy, and suitable for temporary connections or temporary repairs.
