What range of precision is generally controlled for stainless steel welded pipes
What range of precision is generally controlled for stainless steel welded pipes?
Due to the relatively high surface density, even without polishing the outer surface, it can generally reach around 260 mesh. If the inner and outer surfaces of stainless steel welded pipes are polished, their straightness will decrease. Therefore, for pipes with special requirements for straightness, it is generally not recommended to perform polishing treatment. The surface of the polished stainless steel welded pipes has already been very shiny. The comprehensive performance of cold-rolled stainless steel welded pipes is excellent, capable of withstanding high pressure, cold bending, expansion, flattening without cracking, wrinkling, and capable of undergoing various complex deformations and mechanical processing treatments. After vacuum annealing treatment of stainless steel welded pipes, the pipes can undergo processing. Stainless steel welded pipes are generally used in the production fields such as manufacturing mechanical structures, hydraulic equipment, and machinery.
2. The wide application of stainless steel welded pipes can save steel, enhance processing efficiency, reduce processing procedures and equipment investment, and is conducive to improving product quality and reducing costs. Since the size of stainless steel welded pipes can be customized according to the user's requirements and the tolerance range is well controlled, they can be directly used in mechanical equipment without the need for further processing. This can save costs and significantly reduce machining time, increase production volume and material utilization rate. Therefore, the precision of stainless steel welded pipe products is generally controlled at around 0.02 millimeters.
3. The internal and external polishing treatment of stainless steel welded pipes is very important. Generally speaking, for pipes with a diameter of 89 millimeters or less, the surface finish after polishing is very high. However, for stainless steel welded pipes with a diameter of more than 89 millimeters, especially those of 108 millimeters or larger, the outer surface is not very satisfactory. If the surface of the welded pipe requires no pits or small holes, it is usually necessary to polish it first, then grind it, and finally perform automatic polishing.
4. Stainless steel welded pipes refer to steel pipes with precise inner and outer diameter dimensions (within the tolerance range), good surface finish, roundness, straightness and uniform wall thickness. The main technical indicators of the stainless steel welded pipes produced by this technology have reached or exceeded the requirements of national standard GB12771--2002 and international standard ISO4394/I-1980(E). Stainless steel welded pipes are a new type of high-tech energy-saving product. The promotion and application of welded pipes can help save steel, improve processing efficiency and save energy.
