The advantages of using stainless steel pipes in gas transmission projects

Stainless steel gas pipes. As is well known, the most challenging part is the installation and connection method. The double-ring compression connection is an optimized structure based on the original ring compression pipe fitting. It increases the size of the sealing sleeve, adds two sealing surfaces on top of the original ring compression, making a total of four sealing surfaces. This avoids the occurrence of hollowing in the sealing section, ensuring excellent sealing performance, which is more scientific, more stable, and more durable. Compared to the previous ring compression type, the pulling force has doubled.
2. Corrosion-resistant, with strong pressure resistance
The stainless steel gas safety pipeline is a type of high-toughness pipe material. Its elongation after fracture is generally above 500%, and it has a very strong adaptability to uneven settlement of the pipe foundation. It is a pipeline with excellent seismic performance. Its low-temperature brittleness temperature is extremely low, and it can be safely used within the temperature range of -60 to 100 degrees Celsius. During winter construction, due to the good impact resistance of the material, the pipe will not crack, and the pipeline will not deform due to external impact without affecting its operation. Its strong corrosion resistance effectively ensures the safety of the pipeline.
3. Low fluid resistance
The stainless steel gas safety pipeline has a smooth surface and is not prone to scaling. Its smooth appearance and non-adhesive properties ensure that the gas pipeline has a higher conveying capacity than traditional pipe materials, while also reducing pressure loss and transportation energy consumption in the pipeline.
4. Long service life
The stainless steel pipe, due to its unique material, has a service life of up to 100 years, or at least 70 years, which is the same as that of the building. Once installed, it requires no maintenance for the rest of its life and can be used with complete confidence.
From the above, it can be seen that 304 stainless steel pipes have numerous applications. They not only serve as healthy water pipelines, but also can be used as gas transportation pipelines.
