Today, let's talk about the "four major characteristics of 304 stainless steel pipes"

1. Longevity

Research shows that the lifespan of stainless steel pipes can last up to 100 years, or at least 70 years, which is comparable to the lifespan of buildings.

2. Corrosion Resistance

Among all types of pipes, stainless steel pipes have superior corrosion resistance. This is because stainless steel is passivated by oxidizing agents, effectively preventing oxidation reactions. Other materials, such as galvanized water pipes and copper pipes, have relatively poorer anti-passivation capabilities, thus their corrosion resistance is inferior to that of stainless steel pipes. Moreover, stainless steel pipes do not have restrictions on the chemical composition of water and can withstand high flow rates, making them particularly suitable for high-rise water supply.

3. Heat-resistant insulation

In the water industry, 304 stainless steel pipes are widely used. This is mainly because the thermal conductivity of stainless steel pipes is 1/25 that of copper pipes and 1/4 that of ordinary steel pipes, making them suitable for hot water transportation.

4. High Strength

As is well known, the first condition for building water supply is safety and reliability. Due to the high strength of 304 stainless steel pipes, which is twice that of steel pipes and 8-10 times that of plastic pipes. When subjected to external force impacts, almost no leakage will occur. It can withstand high water supply pressure and is particularly suitable for water supply in high-rise buildings.

The tensile strength of 304 stainless steel pipes is twice that of steel pipes and 8 to 10 times that of plastic pipes. The strength of the material determines whether the pipe is sturdy and resistant to impacts, as well as its safety and reliability. Safety and reliability are the primary requirements for building water supply. In the case of external impacts, the possibility of leakage in stainless steel pipes is extremely low. The working pressure of the high-rise water supply system is generally greater than 0.6 Mpa. The pressure requirements for the pipes are high. Due to its excellent mechanical properties, thin-walled stainless steel pipes can withstand a water supply pressure of up to 10 Mpa, and are particularly suitable for high-rise water supply.
