What are the different types of stainless steel pipe fittings
1. Stainless steel straight pipe fittings:
Straight pipe fittings of the same diameter, such as straight three-way fittings and straight four-way fittings, all fall under the category of straight pipe fittings. As the name suggests, both ends of the ports are of the same diameter. They are mainly used for connecting pipes of the same diameter, especially when pipes of the same diameter are needed but the length is insufficient, then these fittings can be used.
II. Stainless Steel Elbow Fittings:
Types such as straight elbow, three-way elbow, four-way elbow, etc., all fall under the category of elbow fittings. They are mainly used to connect stainless steel pipes of different diameters.
III. Stainless Steel Elbow Pipe Fittings:
Not all the waterways are straight and continuous. They can be infinitely long. Where a 90-degree turn is required, stainless steel elbow pipe fittings are used. The most common ones are 90-degree elbows, and there is also a 45-degree elbow.
4. Stainless steel threaded pipe fittings:
Threaded pipe fittings are essentially double compression fittings connected together through welding. They consist of the outer thread and the inner thread. The classification of pipe fittings includes straight, three-way, and elbow types.
V. Other Categories of Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings:
1. Stainless Steel Flange Conversion Joint
This connection is suitable for scenarios where one end requires a flange connection, while the other end is a double compression connection.
2. Stainless steel pipe cap
During home decoration, when ppr water pipes do not have faucets installed or when the end of the pipe does not need to be used, a cap-like pipe fitting is used to seal it. Similarly, in stainless steel pipe fittings, there is also this type of fitting, called a pipe cap.
3. Stainless Steel Pipe Bridge
Pipe bridges are not widely used in practical applications. They are mainly employed when there are slight protrusions on the ground or when two water pipes need to cross each other.
4. Stainless steel adjustable direct connection
The adjustable direct connection is a relatively special type of pipe fitting. It is not widely used, but it holds a special position. Similar to the emergency connection in PE pipe fittings, it is mainly used as a repair pipe fitting for emergency repairs when problems occur in the stainless steel water supply system, especially when additional length is added and the diameters are the same.
