How to clean the inner hole of the stainless steel capillary tube
In the precision manufacturing industry and the medical field, stainless steel capillaries play a crucial role, with extremely high requirements for dimensional accuracy, material properties and cleanliness. However, cleaning those tiny inner cavities often poses a challenge.
Firstly, for situations where cleanliness requirements are relatively low, physical cleaning methods are simple and effective. Place the capillary tube in a heated degreasing solution and let it soak for a while. Then, perform a cyclic rinse using air or water flow. If conditions permit, use a dedicated brush to gently scrub, which can further remove surface impurities.
For high-precision cleaning requirements, ultrasonic cleaning technology demonstrates remarkable effectiveness. Ultrasonic waves generate countless tiny bubbles in the liquid. These bubbles, driven by the ultrasonic waves, burst at an astonishing speed, creating a powerful impact force and negative pressure, which can easily remove stubborn dirt adhering to the inner walls. Especially for longer capillaries, the ultrasonic oscillator can be placed in a custom water tank or directly inserted into the pipe, and then rinsed with clean water to ensure thorough cleaning.
Chemical cleaning employs solutions of appropriate concentrations, such as hydrochloric acid and ethanol, which have excellent cleaning properties. However, when using chemical methods, caution must be exercised as excessively high concentrations may cause damage to the material. It is essential to select the appropriate cleaning agent based on the material and shape of the capillary tube to ensure both effective and safe cleaning.
In summary, the methods for cleaning the inner holes of stainless steel capillaries include physical cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, and chemical cleaning. Each method has its own applicable scenarios and precautions.
