The precision drawing process of stainless steel tubes
Process Introduction:
The precision drawing process for stainless steel pipes involves transforming a thicker pipe into a thinner one through a specific stretching method. The pipes produced using this process are called drawn pipes. The opposite process is called expansion, which involves transforming a thinner pipe into a thicker one through a specific processing method. The materials commonly used are carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel.
After the production of stainless steel precision tubes, if one wants to change the shape of the tubes or enhance their yield strength, straightness, etc., the drawing process can be adopted. This process can improve the yield strength of the steel.
Application fields:
The application fields of stainless steel precision drawing tubes include: hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, underground coal support (pillars), oil pump tubes, jacks, and other manufacturing sectors. High-precision cold-drawn precision steel tubes are a new type of high-tech energy-saving product. In recent years, precision steel tubes produced using this technology have been widely applied in domestic manufacturing sectors such as hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, underground coal support (pillars), oil pump tubes, and jacks.
