316 food-grade stainless steel pipes belong to a category of stainless steel pipes with relatively high quality. They are also more expensive than ordinary pipes. This is true. But this is only a part of it. So, apart from these, what else is there?
The 316 food-grade stainless steel pipe has superior corrosion resistance compared to 304 and 304L. It is suitable for metal pipes used in medical fields, such as water supply pipes, biopharmaceuticals, drug liquid production, purified water, medical gases, medical stents, etc. Besides medical applications, 316 food-grade stainless steel pipes are also used in pipelines related to seawater desalination because only corrosion-resistant pipes can withstand the requirements of corrosion prevention and rust prevention.
The inner walls of the 316 food-grade stainless steel pipes are all smooth. The flowing medium (water, gas, solid) can pass through smoothly and be easily cleaned. At the same time, there are various types of connecting pipe fittings, with good sealing and no leakage, reducing the maintenance and repair of the equipment used, avoiding the waste of pipe materials and the increase of costs. As for the specifications, they range from DN15 to DN300 and the thickness is the same.
