Several common connection methods for stainless steel pipes
The connection methods of stainless steel fluid pipes are diverse. Depending on their principles, their application scopes also vary. However, most of them are easy to install, firm and reliable. Let's take a look at the several commonly used connection methods:
Compression type: Insert the stainless steel fluid pipe into the pipe fitting and use a special installation tool to compress the pipe wall into a hexagonal shape. The internal sealing ring also transforms into a hexagonal shape.
Welding type: Process a bevel at the end of the stainless steel fluid pipe, and then perform circumferential welding on the pipe by hand or automatically.
Butt-welding type: Insert the precision stainless steel pipe into the socket-type pipe fitting. The pipe fitting and the stainless steel pipe are sealed by ring-shaped argon arc welding to complete the connection.
Flanged type: Perform circumferential argon arc welding between the flange and the stainless steel pipe. Use quick clamps or bolts to secure it, allowing the sealing gasket between the flanges to function as a seal, thus completing the connection.
Conical thread type: The outer thread is welded to the stainless steel welded pipe by ring-shaped argon arc welding. The inner threaded pipe piece is connected by a conical thread to achieve a sealing effect, completing the connection.
Compression type: Insert the stainless steel fluid pipe into the pipe opening of the precision stainless steel pipe fitting. Tighten it with a nut. Use the screw force to compress the sleeve at the pipe opening through the sealing ring, achieving a sealing effect and completing the connection.
