BA grade stainless steel welded pipes, with their high surface smoothness and excellent corrosion resistance and cleanliness brought about by the bright annealing treatment, are widely used in fields where strict requirements are imposed on the surface quality, corrosion resistance and purity of the medium. The specific scenarios are as follows: 

I. Semiconductor and Electronics Industry

Ultra-high purity gas delivery: The piping system for special gases such as NF₃, SiH₄, and NH₃ used in chip manufacturing, with a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.4 μm, can reduce gas turbulence and particle adsorption, and prevent contaminants from affecting the wafer manufacturing process (it must meet the requirement of internal surface particle count ≤ 10 per ft³, with particle size > 0.1 μm).

High-purity water circulation system: In the ultra-pure water (resistivity ≥ 18.2 MΩ·cm) delivery for processes such as lithography and etching, the passivation film (Cr₂O₃) on the BA grade surface can prevent the release of metal ions, ensuring the purity of the water quality. 

II. Biopharmaceuticals and Medical Fields

Pharmaceutical liquid delivery pipelines: Suitable for the transmission of sterile pharmaceutical liquids such as injections and blood products. The surface has no oxide scale or oil residue. It passes the USP Class VI biocompatibility test and can prevent drug contamination (endotoxin <0.25 EU/mL).

Medical equipment pipelines: In precision equipment such as dialysis machines and anesthesia machines, the BA grade surface smoothness can reduce bacterial colonization (biofilm formation rate reduced by more than 40%). It is also resistant to disinfectant agents (such as peracetic acid) corrosion. 

III. Food and Dairy Industry

Aseptic filling system: Used for the aseptic transportation of liquid foods such as yogurt and juice (compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2400 standards), with easy surface cleaning, no hygiene dead corners, and capable of withstanding acid and alkali rinsing during CIP (in-situ cleaning) (pH 2-12).

IV. Precise Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

High-end Machine Tool Hydraulic Pipelines: Used in the hydraulic transmission systems of precision CNC machines and aerospace equipment, with low surface roughness (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm), it can reduce fluid resistance, resulting in a pressure loss that is 15%-20% lower than that of ordinary welded pipes, thereby improving the system's response accuracy.

Clean Pneumatic Pipelines: In the pneumatic control of semiconductor packaging and electronic component assembly, it avoids rusting or particle shedding on the inner walls of the pipelines, which could contaminate the compressed air, ensuring the service life of components such as cylinders and valves. 

V. Chemical Industry and Laboratory Field

Fine chemical reaction pipeline: Used for the material transportation in precise synthesis reactions of pharmaceutical intermediates, high-end coatings, etc. Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion (such as 5% nitric acid solution immersion for 1000 hours without rust), and the surface does not undergo chemical reactions with the medium (such as avoiding residual metal ions catalyzing side reactions).

Laboratory analytical instruments: In the carrier gas (such as He, N₂) and reagent transportation pipelines of chromatographs and mass spectrometers, ensure the purity of the medium and reduce analytical errors (contaminant content ≤ 1 ppm). 

The common requirements for these scenarios are: the pipes need to have a low surface roughness, high corrosion resistance, and no pollutant residue. The BA grade stainless steel welded pipes have balanced performance and cost through the bright annealing process (20%-30% lower than seamless pipes of the same specification), making them the preferred choice for high-end manufacturing industries.
