How to maintain stainless steel water pipes
In daily life, try to avoid pouring soy sauce, oil stains, etc. into the stainless steel water pipes as these substances can undergo chemical reactions, which may cause the stainless steel pipes to rust.
2. Before installing the stainless steel water pipes, you can first apply a layer of vegetable oil to the surface of the pipes, and then dry them slightly over low heat. The purpose of this is to extend the service life of the stainless steel pipes and make them easier to clean.
3. If the outer layer of the stainless steel pipe shows signs of rusting, it is necessary to apply a special stainless steel wax to the rusted area promptly. After applying the wax, wait for a period of time and then perform grinding and cleaning. Once the wax is washed off, the outer layer of the pipe will regain its luster.
4. In daily life, try not to use sharp objects to collide with the stainless steel water pipes.
5. When transporting stainless steel water pipes, it is necessary to wrap and secure the pipes with something to prevent them from colliding with each other or coming into contact with other sharp objects. Doing so can avoid causing dents on the surface of the pipes, which would make them less aesthetically pleasing.
6. Once the outer layer of the stainless steel water pipe is scratched, you can use a dry towel to soak up a little stainless steel care agent, then wipe the scratched area. After that, use a sanding wheel to gently sand until the scratch disappears.
7. One way to restore the shine of stainless steel pipes is to use a soft cloth dampened with stainless steel cleaner and apply it to the surface. The pipes will immediately become shiny and bright. However, this method should not be used frequently as repeated use may make it difficult to restore the original shine of the pipes.
