What fields do stainless steel pipes mainly apply to
Stainless steel pipe water supply field
Stainless steel pipes are the best direct drinking water transportation pipes. Thin-walled stainless steel pipes have the characteristics of low leakage rate and can save precious water resources. Thin-walled stainless steel pipes can be used for hot water and cold water pipes. In the 1980s, the leakage rate of water pipes was around 17%, but after using stainless steel pipes, the leakage rate dropped to 7%. In the water supply system damaged in earthquakes, the stainless steel pipe system remained intact. In addition, compared with copper pipes, stainless steel pipes have better water flow performance and do not corrode under high flow rates. Its heat preservation performance is 24 times that of copper pipes, and the cost performance is very high.
Stainless steel gas pipeline transportation
In China's gas transportation pipelines, the majority of users adopt the method of installing galvanized pipes for household use. Its advantages are low material cost and mature technology. However, its disadvantages are that it is prone to rust and corrosion, has a shorter service life, and has a higher maintenance cost. After installation, it is necessary to apply anti-corrosion paint once every 5 years. To extend the service life of gas pipelines and ensure gas safety, drawing on the successful experience of water supply and drainage, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development actively recommends the use of thin-walled stainless steel pipes in the application of low-pressure gas pipelines.
Stainless steel gas pipes have the advantages of high tensile strength, high ductility and toughness, low thermal expansion coefficient, strong corrosion resistance, high wear resistance, long service life, light weight and recyclability.
Stainless steel pipes are applied in the decoration field.
Stainless steel pipes are widely used in the decoration industry due to their excellent properties such as high tensile strength, good inner wall smoothness, and outstanding wear resistance. Examples of such applications include the stainless steel stair railings and handrails commonly found in our homes, which are made from stainless steel decorative pipes. Many stainless steel pipe factories have also developed various styles, models, and patterns of stainless steel decorative pipes for consumers to choose from. This clearly shows the popularity of stainless steel pipes in the decoration industry.
