Plastic-coated stainless steel pipe and water pipe standard
1. Appearance requirements
The plastic-coated stainless steel pipes should have a smooth surface without bubbles, cracks, depressions, peeling, etc. The color should be uniform and there should be no obvious color difference. The pipe ends should be flat without obvious burrs and deformations.
2. Dimension requirements
The dimensions of the plastic-coated stainless steel pipes should comply with the design requirements, with an error of no more than ±1.0%. The pipe diameter should comply with national standards. If special specifications need to be customized, it is necessary to negotiate with the supplier in advance.
3. Quality requirements
The quality of the plastic-coated stainless steel pipes should comply with relevant national standards, such as GB/T 18705-2002 "Stainless Steel Welded Pipes for Fluid Transportation". When purchasing, it is necessary to choose qualified products with relevant certifications.
4. Material requirements
The material of the plastic-coated stainless steel pipes should be 304 or 316L stainless steel. Among them, 316L stainless steel has better corrosion resistance. When purchasing, the material and grade should be clearly specified.
5. Wall thickness standard
The wall thickness of the plastic-coated stainless steel pipes should comply with the design requirements. For stainless steel pipes with a nominal diameter of less than or equal to DN100, the wall thickness should be no less than 2.0mm. For stainless steel pipes with a nominal diameter greater than DN100, the wall thickness should be no less than 2.5mm. When purchasing, it is necessary to select pipes that meet the wall thickness standard.
6. Processing technology
The processing technology of the plastic-coated stainless steel pipes should comply with relevant standards, such as GB/T 28909-2012 "Metal Ring Gaskets for Steel Pipe Flanges". During processing, it should be ensured that the pipe ends are flush with the flange end face without obvious misalignment. The sealing surface of the flange should be a profiled surface or a gasket that matches the large-diameter sealing surface.
7. Pressure standard
The working pressure of the plastic-coated stainless steel pipes should comply with the design requirements. The working pressure should not exceed 1.6MPa. When purchasing, it is necessary to select pipes that meet the pressure standard according to actual needs.
